Overview
SoundStream was built for simplicity. It removes all the friction of traditional audio platforms and focuses purely on quick access, responsive playback, and effortless control over what’s playing.
The project aimed to support podcast listeners, long-form audio fans, and ambient music lovers who prefer clean navigation, minimal distractions, and no learning curve.
Challenges
Many users found existing platforms too feature-heavy or confusing. Long menus, tiny buttons, and noisy visuals often turned what should be a relaxing audio experience into a frustrating one.
We also had to solve for performance on lower-end devices. The client wanted zero-lag switching between audio streams with no buffering, even on mobile data.
